Through this book, I have tried to pen-down the modalities for “A Democratic Classroom” for Social Science. Being a teacher of Social Science, I am sure you have a clear concept of Democracy as a way of Governance as well as a way of modern life. India, being a largest Democracy in the world, need to educate her citizens about the Democratic life styles. To my understanding, school is the best place where we can enforce these practices. I am confident that many of us are already following Democratic pedagogy in our classroom processes. Your experiences / understanding in this regard would surely facilitate this profiling.
